So there we were:

About 10 minutes ago my(25F) boyfriend(27M) told me about how he just got a new job for security (we currently work in an office together at a call center) but I can't say much cause I had a call. 5 minutes later he's walking back around the office and I call him over cause I'm still super excited about this and right as I asked him "When do you start?" Our manager walked into the room (my cubicle is by the door) and goes "Start what?"

I froze. I looked at my manager, I looked back at my boyfriend, I panicked, and to my boyfriend I said "Your period."

I may of just outted that my BF got a new job on accident while simultaneously embarrassing both of us. 5 minutes later he messaged me on Discord "All of the subtlety of a f***ing boulder".

TL;DR I asked my BF "when he starts" (his new job) and my manager over heard and asked what we were talking about and I said "your period"

Damn that sucks, but to a detached stranger it’s kinda hilarious

Honestly it's none of the manager's business, so answering with such a ridiculous thing might point that out to him if he has an ounce of self-awareness.

No, he'll just think you were implying he was being moody like so many men have with women over the years. It's fine. Awkward, but fine

Guessing he's not giving a two weeks notice, so it's none of the managers business. and who cares anyways if he already has another job lined up??
