The courses are randomized at each competition, and the trainers (without their dogs) only see the layout beforehand on the same day. I think that wouldn’t work for most dogs anyway. Even in dancing for dogs, which is a set routine, our dog sometimes remembers bits and pieces but generally every single move is cued.
