Also the Cartier watch is named after him. He asked for a wrist watch (until then considered a woman's item) as he didnt want to fumble around with a pocket watch. (the Cone on the crowns is a nod to his airship)

TIL about La France (airship), the world's first fully controlled flight. In 1884 the electric powered, hydrogen filled airship traveled an 8km round trip, successfully returning to it's starting point.
