It should be common knowledge but people wanna pretend america not only started slavery but was the only source which is nonsense.

There's the root. You pretend there is no issue. People in my lifetime were denied home ownership opportunities to build wealth. The government had programs that gave developers incentives as long as they didn't sell homes to black people.
