Norwegians idea of crime is grounded in fantasy. Reading it makes you get the idea that these people are so comfortable and crime-free that it can be all bullshit.

Makes sense. After all, the holiday memorializes a double-act of murder and identity theft.

Norwegian Easter is one of the best holidays: you drive to your cozy cabin in the woods, go skiing and read crime books. Also, most stores are closed the whole week, except the most important ones like grocery stores which have much shorter opening times.
