I always forget Picasso died in the 1970s. I don't know why, but I always think of him the same way I think of Raphael or Michaelangelo, some artist who lived centuries ago. I wasn't alive when he was, but my parents were.

I always mix up van Gogh and Picasso as far as when they lived and it makes me think Picasso was older than he is. It makes a little bit of sense. They were only born 28 years apart and both in the second half of the 1800s but Picasso was alive for 83 years after van Gogh's death.

Yet 1970s was 50 years ago. So it is actually a long time ago.

Given a good chunk of the world's population was still alive alongside Picasso, I don't really consider this "a long time ago," at least not in the sense I was thinking of. I think a lot of this came from taking art classes in school, we'd read about him alongside Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Raphael, so this probably made me think of him as one of the ancient greats.

The problem with such a mass of paintings and sculptures is they still can’t figure out which nose and ears are supposed to go with which face, so when auctioning things off just basically use a pot luck/ mystery gift method

Real life Sims 4 gameplay where you abuse selling paintings to get rich. Imagine you need a couple mill, just ring grandpa and ask him to do a lil' sketch real quick and you're set.

Picasso made such rich art, and had the background to prove it by showing off his skills in other styles before pursuing abstraction art. The man was quite the perfectionist.

I think you're trying to be sexist, but your communication skills are so atrocious that it's nearly impossible to understand what you're saying.
