nope. be he was smart enough to listen to guitarists.

Jim Marshall was a Drummer. Pete Cornish plays the trumpet.

Dave Reeves (who designed the Hiwatt Amp) was ex military and was into radios.

I think Randall Smith of Mesa was also a drummer.

I openly mock and scorn you since I only own 3 guitars that I cannot play.

I have 3 guitars. Electric, acoustic, bass. Promised my self for the last 20years Ill teach myself when I get more time. Covid happened, still didn’t happen. Now I’m after an electronic drum kit. At least the guitars look nice on my wall as dust collectors.

Jobs was always the PR/business man. Woz was the programmer. I don't think anyone thinks otherwise.

I thought he wasn't even the ideas guy, other people under him came up with the ideas and he just presented and sold them.

Jobs actually could program, all though it was extremely basic. He had a working knowledge of computers after all. The guy had to talk to engineers all the time to communicate his ideas.

Ted McCarty didn't play guitar either, yet designed or co-designed many of Gibson's best guitars.

Wow, I didn't know that, seriously. And I've been playing a Strat for 36 years, lol.

Cheers. I got my first guitar 36 years ago this past summer. I don't have my 89 American anymore but made a Warmoth to my own liking when the pandemic started. If you're interested in Leo via a book that is not ONLY about Leo (and very good), check out "The Birth of Loud." Covers Gibson, too. And the artists that moved the brands along.

Damn, reminds me of my businessman uncle who has a signed guitar from the members of STYX but has absolutely no interest in music and has heckled me for years because I pursed a career in it.

I think people are confused with the word invented as compared to owned, designed, and collected. Leo Fender is the Inventor of Fender Guitars yet could not play guitar period
