If you are interested in origin stories the Discovery channel has a series called The Food That Built America. They did Fritos as well as Wrigleys Gum and many others. I watch them just to see the historical clothes and sets.

I can't remember if it was the Fritos or Lay's guy, but I really hated the guy that played him. I didn't finish the episode, so I don't know if he was a deal life douche and really good acting or it was just the actor.

TIL that the Fritos Company began when Charles Doolin bought a corn chip recipe, ricer, and 19 retail accounts from a corn chip maker for $100, which Doolin borrowed from his mother. His mother's kitchen was the first office of the Frito Company, which had a capacity of 10 lb of chips daily.
