Does $2,000 seem like a low fine to Google et al. to anybody else?
Doesn’t need to be in the millions, but I also think Google might make $2,000 every few seconds. That’s not even speaking of if they’d ever pay it given their legal teams.

The question should not be "Who can afford to pay the fine?," the question should be "whose fault is it?"
It is, without a moment's hesitation, the driver's fault - its no different than if they followed a paper road map and ignored the fact the bridge they're trying to drive under is only 6 feet high.
READ the road signs.

I agree but if drivers are coming from one trucking company I think that should be looked into as well.

I mean, fuck google fine them...but its hard to miss all the signs in front of you, we cant just start blaming gps for going down the wrong roads. Drivers need to understand common sense, especially in rural areas.
