I show -19F on my outside thermometer here in the NEK. Windchill is crazy cold

Home weather station - Winds are 5 mph right now, 9 below temperature, and 20 below wind chills while it's 65 inside. I'm about to make a loaf of sourdough, so my home is about to get nice and toasty and smell amazing.

“Real feel” will always sound wrong to my ears. It’s been windchill factor.

That said, it feels real fucking cold out.

Y’know we had many days like this thru the winters of the 70s. Eye on the Sky’s Mark Breen said 1979 was the coldest on record for the VT/NH Upper Valley. He was right.

Kirby/stj/lyndon: -31 on my therm. outside..no idea what the feels like is but thankfully there wasnt any wind when i went out about quarter to. Brr indeed!

OTOH everything after this is gonna feel like spring!
