Toss it. Critter might survive because of those calories. And, as my 3-year old told me as he peed out in the woods, “pee pee doesn’t make the world dirty.” Neither do apple cores.

Critters are likely to cross the road or be more exposed to traffic when people throw food scraps out their window. You're more likely to get that critter killed than keep it alive with the 45 calories in an apple core https://www.facebook.com/GlacierNPS/photos/a.360427434911/10156904600259912/?type=3

Hey man, I like Opossums. It's good to keep them alive by letting people know this.

I like them too. So excited to feel guilt for the hundred banana peels and apple cores I have pitched out of windows throughout my life.

Try to find a wooded spot where the critters will find it and then wing it.

I feel a great and deep connection to goats, that is true.

I picked up some really unfortunate eating habits from my step father, and my wife makes fun of it all the time.

“Road apple” for me has always meant horse poop. I’ve never heard it used to describe actual apples. I was expecting something very different from this post. Lol

Toss it, I avoid landscaped yards/gardens for my cores, look for a ditch or some woods.
