My girlfriend and I are spending a few days in the Wilmington area next week and I was wondering if there are any saunas in the area? I'm talking the type where you can be clothing optional, run outside into the snow for a shock etc.

I’ll let you use my shower and you can jump on top of the dirty block of ice in my yard for 100 bucks.

This is Vermont, not Norway lol but there are plenty of spas in the area. It's a high tourist ski town and there is plenty to do. Most of our snow has melted, however. We're entering mud season.

We’re entering our first of 3 mud seasons. We will get plenty of snow in March

You're right - I should have said "we're entering a mud season"

I figured of all of the states in the northeast, we'd find more options like this in Vermont!

I do remember the hotel at mount snow, (I think it's called the summit?) had a heated pool that went outside and you could swim around in the middle of winter that was so cool! But other than that I think you take it upon yourselves to jump in the snow after your hot tub dip. Enjoy your trip!

Other than clothing optional lakes in the summer I think you're out of luck.

Might be able to find a AirBnB that allows it.

My partner and I are seriously considering building a bathhouse/spa someday. It's surprising that there aren't any proper onsen-style places here! I'm dying for a proper bath.
