Ish. It was bought out by a major media company a long time ago, I believe Garnett.

The last time I saw a physical copy there were like 4 pages and the only VT content was the forecast.

You should do a story on the “usps insured package scam”, as in them not letting the public know the criteria they require in order for them to pay out a claim on packages THEY lose upfront, then refusing to honor said claim.

USPS and UPS is always doing a wonderful job, but FedEx is so awful its like looking for easter eggs except all year round.

Yes, consistently we have long delays and we have had a couple of packages lost as well

Live in Stowe and haven't received the last 5 packages that were supposed to be delivered via USPS. They also don't update the status after getting it at their location. They just scan it once saying it is out for delivery and then don't do anything with it. We even went down to the post office to attempt to pick up and they advised they had over 2000 packages undelivered in Stowe so they could not find or give us the package for pick up.

I don't live in either of those towns, but after 15 years of consistent USPS deliveries at my home, the USPS has delivered almost a dozen packages in a row to "other addresses on my street" (but they won't tell me where)

I ship USPS in state many times a week it's become a joke and I am thinking about switching to UPS even though they cost more. Packages that used to take a day now go all over New England sometimes from VT to NH to MA to VT then back again. It's becoming more common. Shipping to Stowe can be real bad I have had packages sit in the post office for weeks and even had my customers try to get them in person only to be told they are not there. This is all in state. BS really.

Most usps employees aren't allowed to talk to media, if you want to get an interview you'll have to probably contact the postmasters of those offices and they'll have to talk to their own higher management to get permission or have them set it up.

My problem is I call all these newspapers to cancel yet they keep getting delivered.
