Great shot, I assume a tripod is required for a pic like this but can you talk about the gear and settings required for this kind of image?

On my pixel you need to set it to a special night time mode and then it sometimes looks good, but it kinda varies on lighting

How?! I try to take night pictures with my iphone all the time and I get a black square. If it's the moon, I get a fuzzy disc of light. I must know your secrets.

I just had it on regular photo and it did something with a kind of timer on its own. All I did was press the button to take the picture. I just looked it up, and it looks like this explanation is how it happened. Sorry if this is confusing :(

“The Night mode (moon) icon appears at the top of the Camera app when you shoot in low light. If the Night mode icon is white, tap it to activate Night mode. If the icon is yellow, Night mode is already switched on.”

Thanks for looking into that! Looks like my iPhone is too old for that feature. :( Amazing how fast smartphones get outdated.
