Walking over to my neighbors house just west of Montpelier to watch the Super Bowl at about 6:05, there was a weird string of lights in the eastern sky at ~100°E. Did anyone else see it?? It was only in the sky for about 2 minutes before I lost sign of it and for the life of me had no idea what it was.

It seemed to be at about the height planes would fly, was moving roughly at the same speed you’d see planes that high flying, but it was weird. I wouldn’t expect a convoy of planes (which it may have been) to be flying in such a meticulously straight line.

Call me crazy if you will. Just wondering if anyone saw it too.

Weird. I Googled images and it totally looked like what came up.

Space junk. Be prepared to see it more often.

Not sure; I didn't see for myself. Perhaps it was Skylink?

Doesn't this same thing get posted on here fairly often? Always Starlink satellites.

Have people actually never heard of these?

I’ve heard of Starlink but never seen a convoy of satellites moving in such a pattern.

My buddy and I were camped at Somerset campground in the Green Mountain National Forest last year when we watched a STARLINK satellite train pass just below our zenith. Amazing sight under dark skies. There are websites and apps that will give you the times for any predicted passes at your location if you wish to view one for yourself.

I saw something like that once in Williston, I was pretty sure they were helicopters at the time, but I never did truly find out. It was kinda spooky honestly.
