Grow up and just keep your kids home if you can’t handle driving in the snow.

If you feel so strongly and legitimately think they’re trying to kill your kid, call the child/children in sick.

True story - must've been winter of 86 into 87 - we had a storm so bad that the kids from IP didn't get to NC until NOON. that was so far back in the day, when you had to listen to WIKE (MOO didn't exist) to hear school closings... good times.

For me it was more like a mile and a half in three feet of snow, though yea--could get up to five feet in a serious drift where you'd have to slowly pack it down to three feet, but I'm not quite that old, and climate change is a thing.

The standards for staying home or canceling school have softened considerably since I was a kid. If you can’t handle snow then move to florida
