Inventory is very low - people like the area for the same reason you do and generally don’t move. I read that Norwich has 1,500 houses total, and I imagine surrounding towns are similar. So there just straight up aren’t many houses, and significantly less actually go on the market. Keep looking and be prepared that you likely won’t find something that checks all of your boxes. Norwich is especially competitive as the feed into the Hanover, NH school district, which is one of the highest rated in the state. The area is loaded with million dollar plus homes, and even the teachers' average salary is 97k annually.
