Waking Windows music fest in Winooski VT (next to BVT). Although they said this year won't be as big/the same as previous years, so tbd.

Perhaps not the most popular, but New World Music Festival in Randolph is well attended. Music from a variety of traditions with concerts and workshops. It’s a great experience if you’re into that type of music.

And there’s the rodeo most summer weekends in castleton, too. Not a festival, but if someone’s visiting the area, it’s potential fun to add on to a day! And it’s a bit of a scene.

The Champlain Valley Fair and it's corresponding concerts/ticketed events are the largest event in the state by total attendance numbers.

Our "big" festivals are tiny compared to most places. Oxbow Music Festival in Morrisville is one of my favorites (in August, a few hundred people attend usually). Rattling Brook Bluegrass Festival in Belvidere is a hidden gem.
