Sure, the Seattle city population of 733k seems comparable since it's just a little more than all of Vermont, but the population of the Seattle metropolitan area is over 4 million.
For comparison there, that's half a million more people than the entire states Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine combined.

My son’s 2016 Subaru Impreza with 68,000 miles on it has been a wallet draining moneypit. My daughter’s 2017 RAV4 with 120,000 never has had a problem. I will NEVER! buy another Subaru again. Team Toyota for me.

I honestly love my Toyota Highlander because it has the clearance and handling of a Subaru, but a better engine. I've only had to replace the battery since getting mine 2 years ago.

My 90s Legacy was a great little beast, so I talked it up to my husband and we bought a 2000s Outback, which of course was a lemon from hell. I have been banished to Team Hyundai for my troubles, but it's actually pretty nice here.

I was tracking until he started making density comparisons between Seattle and Vermont, that's a grapefruit and grape comparison.
Maybe a road-miles comparison for density would be a better measure of density? Washington has 294,000 Subarus from this source, and Vermont has 73,000, and Washington has 168,000 miles of road, while Vermont has 16,000. So that would mean that Washington has 1.75 Subarus per mile of road, while Vermont has 4.6 Subarus per road mile.

My 2001 impreza made it through a hellish 315k miles...but i did the headgaskets twice, transmission, clutch, and multiple timing belts.
My 2004 tacoma is at 297k, orig engine and transmission. No major repairs.

Hello Subaru owner from Vermont, had 176k on my Impreza when it died. Lots of Subarus go to seattke from Vermont. They die there because the inspection is much looser in Washington state. We are similar states and should combine our powers!

I got a Subaru as a rental with out of state plates when my girl got in an accident. I’ve been driving it around all week. It’s easy to spot a local in that thing. They give you a certain look. Subarus have a great AWD system and transmission coupled with a motor that lasts almost exactly 100k before needing a complete rebuild
