And it's only 15 minutes away. Pisser. Thanks! Any recommendations for lunch spots in Lebanon/WRJ where I should start? We are moving up soon and want to get a feel for the towns. I'm looking for local clubs to join: hiking, mountain biking, swimming, canoe camping

Marsh Brothers or Lucky’s in Leb; Tuckerbox or Big Fatty’s in WRJ. Upper Valley Mountain Bike Association is where it’s at for clubs.

Heck yes. Is anybody getting a social cycling group going up there? In Austin we had a Facebook group and we'd post routes and different people would lead rides. We had Bike Curious Sundays, Saturday Morning Caffeine Cruise, Thursday Night Social (imagine 300 bar hoppers)
I wonder if anybody would have any interest in a Saturday morning coffee stop road bike ride.

UVMBA has organized rides at least once a week, Woodstock Area MTB Association also has weekly MTB and gravel rides (highly recommend the latter). Drummond Cycles in Enfield also has shop rides.

The guys at the bike shop in Leb used to run a regular Sunday ride in the summer. Not sure what the current status of that group is, but there’s a whole bunch of regular rides in the area, and it’s really easy to find smaller groups, since basically everyone here rides.

Lucky’s Coffee Garage and Lalo’s Taqueria in Leb. Tuckerbox in WRJ.

Ok I'm coming from Texas so Lalo's will have a high bar to reach.

It’s not gonna beat Texas, but it’s good food and good people.

That's all that matters!
