I made an appointment for one month out, but I'm not going to make it that long.

The clinic I called and was seen at a few years ago said they don't accept dental emergencies- which seems odd for a fQHC, in my opinion.

Any recommendations for a dentist that accepts vt medicaid in the NEK area that sees patients for emergency care would be much appreciated.

I have a awful dental history because of my severe dental anxiety. I finally talked to my pc about it and she said she would prescribe an anti-anxiety med when I have my appointment set up.

Central Vermont Dental Care got me in when I needed an emergency extraction of wisdom teeth immediately postpartum. They were lovely, quick, and kind about everything. Highly recommend!

I looked for two years and had to get a credit card to pay. I also drive an hour and 25 min to get to there lol.

I also have Medicaid and was told nowhere is taking new patients on Medicaid and some places might phase it out.

The last place I saw a dentist was over an hour away, they had a sliding scale for non-medicaid covered procedures (so anything that beyond pulling a tooth), I just can't go back there I had a horrible experience (one of my many reasons for my dental anxiety).

I'm gonna keep trying, it's just even the calling the dentist gives me anxiety (which today is a good example of why when the lady was very rude to me about how they wouldn't see me for an emergency)

Plainfield Health Center. Not quite NEK but take a little trip down Route 2 and you’re there!
