My take when I posted the first article of his arrest for the Rolex was ‘I bet this wasn’t the first time’. How sadly predictable.

They get away with this shit for YEARS. A Sgt. from the Derby barracks got caught stealing from the evidence locker and they quietly moved him to the St. J barracks even though the States Attorney in Orleans County issued a Brady Letter saying she could no longer prosecute any cases he was involved with. He worked in Caledonia County for YEARS while nobody knew what had happened. He was finally fired last year for sexual harassment of female subordinates coincidentally right after a whistle blower informed the troop in St. J who their senior Sgt. was.
halfbakedblake t1_jd157lk wrote
Omfg. I knew about the harassment, not the shit before.
Ok_Birthday749 t1_jd1qu4o wrote
That’s what usually happens. They’re found not credible so can’t be involved in prosecution of cases so the jurisdiction just moves them to another county where the States Attorney isn’t aware that they’re a lying criminal piece of garbage. Ot they quit and go in to work for other law enforcement agencies. This is a common practice everywhere even here in Vermont.

Good. Hope he likes prison food. I love that he was dumb enough to do something (being a little vague) that a cop should know would get him caught.

Corey307 t1_jd21ap4 wrote
Not long ago a border patrol agent was moonlighting as a serial prostitute murder, he got past the polygraph too. I know people who passed their polygraph despite having done some really messed up stuff in the past like drug dealing and I know other guys who are choirboys and the person running their polygraph accused them of being murderers, drug dealers and pedophiles. The problem is twofold, polygraphs don’t work and the people administering them are incompetent and often biased.
