My wife and I want to spend a weekend in February in Vermont - 4 days total. Any suggestions on towns we should stay in? We like good food and drink! We are driving from Canada.

Thanks!

Burlington is the best for food/entertainment

Agreed. Winooski/Burlington are the best for this and are within an hour of the border.

I'm very sorry to be the one that breaks this to you but our weekends sadly only last for 2 days here.

You're forgetting to calculate the weekend with the exchange rate.

If you’re looking for Vermont urban, stay in Burlington/eat there and Winooski.

For smaller-town Vermont, one option is Middlebury. If you don’t mind/would enjoy a little driving as part of the touristing, 10-25 min of driving would get you to some nice dinners in N. Ferrisburgh (Starry Night), Bristol (Tillerman or Bobcat), Vergennes (Black Sheep), Brandon (if Cafe Provence is still amazing). And there are a couple good lunch and dinner options in Midd itself.

Montpelier has so many cute little shops and great restaurants, as well as, plenty of hotels and motels to stay in. It’s not too far of a drive to a few great ski resorts too. But I may be partial to the area because I live around there lol.

I’ve heard they’re building a Taco Bell in this hot section of Burlington called The Pit
