I work in town every day. I don't doubt it for a second.
(Although I have never been catcalled in Bratt; only once in P-town [which I was honestly a bit of a morale booster given the sheer volume of ripped, shirtless dudes there 😆]).

Malfunction junction from the Holstein Building. Used to live three blocks up from there. And virtually every night is quiet - it’s Vermont!

Prior to the Holstein being built, that was a town road called Hudson Street, which actually connected to Reed Street (via a 90-deg right turn at the top of the hill). There were 3 houses on it; one of which was the childhood home of my former boss's grandpa. He said they'd sit back on the front porch and watch all the happenings on Main Street every day. Must've been pretty rad.

Not as quiet as it used to be, sirens singing you the song of their people is common now.

Elliott Street was crowded tonight for Gallery Walk. Bands playing and all kinds of vendors. So just up the road it was opposite of the photo.

I love Brattleboro and I’ve only ever passed through. On a hiking trip I stopped in on a hiking/outdoors store there and compared to my home state everything was such a bargain I went a little wild. I forgot the name but it’s still my favorite camping store. There was also a great food co-op or natural food store

Went to school in Brattleboro so got very familiar with the town. I still like driving through whenever possible to see old sites that I remember fondly.

I've done a fair amount of travel to various cities big and small, and Brattleboro is the only place where I, a dude walking around, have gotten catcalled. Repeatedly. On consecutive days. By the same woman in the same vehicle. It was weird.
