Woodstock is a bit touristy, but OP is a tourist. There’s a reason so many people flock to it - easily one of the top towns I’d recommend to anyone visiting.

Fair enough! Gotta admit when I visited places like Chicago and Albuquerque last year for the first time, I wanted to see touristy places too. But I also like to get a taste of what lies beneath the glitter as well.
