Wow, where do you live? The places I've seen in my area that use natural gas end up costing more than oil usually.. maybe I've only looked at home with natural gas that have terrible insulation?

Underhill. Natural gas is about 1/3 the equivalent price of oil. Natural gas is regulated by the state of Vermont. If VGS wants to raise rates, the state has to approve it.

That said, my house is well insulated, I have no tall ceilings, and I do have pretty good windows
