Having lived and visited places with long established legal dispensaries, I really don’t care if the price is double than the black market- I like knowing my stuff wasn’t sprayed with roundup and/or smuggled across a border and supporting some super sketch people. I like knowing what strain it is, getting to know what terpenes it has, how much THC/CBD it has. Less important, but also nice, is I support a tax paying business.

I also enjoy a light buzz and my tolerance is relatively low- so 3.5 grams can last me a whole month if I’m just enjoying a one hitter at night, so the cost isn’t that big of a deal to me. Also- edibles with real dosages are a game changer for me.

I know most of the dudes that I used to buy from and how they were growing it. It's not a luxury all of us have, but its nice to know.

I really hope the legal market continues to grow, not just for safer products and regulatory awesomeness. But for the folks that will be starting businesses and working in these businesses.

but thats not how it works. it monopolizes and cripples the industry. look at oregon. used to have great flower everyyywhere, now its just millionares pumping blown out genetics just to make as much booty hash as possible.

ya know theres a big difference between supporting a local weed grower/ dealer who cares wayyy more about their herb than these huge companies that grow shit genetics that look just good and buying herb thats “sprayed with roundup and or smuggled across a border” (something that i personally have never heard, seen, or know about) vt going rec is great for tourists, really bad for people who give a shit that have been growing in the state for decades

I don’t know these people unfortunately. I smoked nasty brick stuff in high school (90s) and then stopped until 4 years ago.
