Possibly, or NY, NH, ME, MA, CT, RI, PA, OH, MI, or any other of the maple making states

This. It's Kirkland brand from Costco. 100% pure organic maple syrup roulette.

sindach t1_is58z8m wrote

It's a mix. Some volunteers bought maple syrup from difference sources. Costco is not my personal favorite for maple syrup but it is a good value! My favorite is deep mountain maple (Vermont FTW!!!), lol. Just stating for the record. I don't think you can go wrong with any source really. Even cheap maple syrup is pretty good (provided it hasn't been watered down or doctored with something)...

I am a native Vermonter who lives in central Kentucky (because Vt is ridiculously expensive and I can't afford it)...my Amish neighbors make delicious maple syrup every spring. It's almost as good as Vermont's, but I'm lucky I have a friend up there who sends me some every couple of years. I still have half of a gallon left that he sent me in 2019!

I’m a native Vermonter who once lived in Kentucky. Hated it.

Well, I'm lucky in that I'm retired and don't have to be out amongst the 'natives' too much. I encounter them when I go grocery shopping or whatever, but rarely otherwise. We have six acres out here in the Boonies with no neighbors to speak of so I've been enjoying it.

You have to understand that I spent 32 years living in southeast Pit Of Life, I mean Alabama (off and on) so compared to that shithole state/area--Kentucky is a paradise. At least there's no fire ants and I can garden and enjoy the outside and gardening. I couldn't do that down in hell, I mean Alabama.

Zoom in and you can see “Pure Vermont” above and “Grade A Maple Syrup” below the maple leaf on the cap, so no.

For what it's worth, Darn Tough did send a couple thousand pairs (or maybe it was a few thousand pounds?) of seconds months ago if I am remembering correctly.

Sockwell are ompression, zoned, cobo9... for the paved field. Darn Tough are great for weekend hikes. These people are deep in it for a full year, with so much unknown.

If I had a back pack or tote, with unknown abode or food between the bombs, I would want those little bottles of RAGNAROK... err, RUNAMOK.

It's an actual thing. Ukrainian soldiers love maple syrup after trying some and have politely requested more. Volunteers have answered that call.

There is no way to tell from the generic bottles of maple syrup in the photo whether or not they are actually VT syrup, as the post suggests they are. From what I can make out of the sticker it looks like it's probably something from Costco as others have stated. Could be VT syrup... or not.

sindach t1_is9zbke wrote

If you're interested, visit the subreddit where the original photo came from. There's more photos of the shipments, etc. It depends on the volunteer who bought the supplies to ship to Ukraine, they buy the syrup from different sources.

irrationaldive t1_is6mi67 wrote

The syrup is from Greens Sugarhouse(Poultney VT). Look closely at the second from the bottom on the right. The label is more visible in this video: https://www.reddit.com/r/vit4ukraine/comments/y25wmz/todays_batch_from_reddit_to_frontline_video_by/

And in the third image of this gallery: https://www.reddit.com/r/vit4ukraine/comments/y1jonc/first_day_of_deliveries_within_ukraine/

mistahboogs t1_is5j701 wrote

It's Kirkland brand, one of the labels is visible enough to tell

4

hudsoncider t1_is6rz3k wrote

The bottles with the green lid are actually GREENS VT syrup as mentioned by u/irrationaldive

7

mistahboogs t1_is6se1a wrote

Can't tell what the red lid and black lid ones are, also one green lid with a sticker on top could be different but all the other green lids are Kirkland

Edit: two green lids with stickers are certainly not Kirkland.

mistahboogs t1_is6s53g wrote

Uhh no, second box down from the top left. Green lid, says Kirkland on the label.

1

hudsoncider t1_is6shcs wrote

Correction - the bottles with the solid green caps are VT from greens. The bottles with the flip cap lids are Kirkland. So we are ALL correct ❤️
