I know this has been asked many times before, but what is the best carrier in Vermont?

Exactly. We're on Milton's border and often go to Essex Junction, St. A., and Colchester. The three of us picked different carriers. My Verizon is not better than other family members AT&T/Cricket or Mint/Sprint. In fact, they usually have exceptional service while I have nothing. Milton's really become an annoyance as areas I used to have great service now struggle to get much of anything. But head south to the Brandon area and I have great service while theirs tanks. When I asked Verizon's customer service and was pushed to tech support and a tech support supervisor, the answer I got was that being close to the lake, and water impacts Verizon's service greatly.
I have T-Mobile in Milton and we travel the same areas and don't have any problem areas
I have att and it sucks where I live. My lady has verzion and it never goes out where we live.
Dover area had AT&T even in a forest in middle of nowhere. As others say, varies on location drastically.
I’m using US Mobile (uses Verizon). Paying $40/month for three phones. Works much better than my previous carrier Ting (which was in T Mobile).
My vote is for xfinity mobile to be honest - if you have their wifi that is. Reception is on par with AT&T or Verizon and it’s $60 a month for 2 unlimited data lines. They also do great trade in or bring-your-phone-over deals
Xfinity Mobile is an MVNO that runs on Verizons network. I'm curious about the three networks coverage, speed, and reliability. If you like Xfinity Mobile, vote for Verizon!
Most people using an MVNO have no idea who the underlying service is from.
Anybody else using Republic? I had it absolutely spiral into failure after they were bought by Dish. Moved to Mint with no problems yet.

I had to switch out from Tmobile when I moved here. The coverage was just too spotty. No issues with Verizon, though.
Where at? I'm between Burlington and St. A's with no issues on tmobile

I switched to Xfinity Mobile from Google Fi. Much better signal all around and I only pay $60 a month for internet and my phone combined.
But with Google Fi you get multiple shitty carriers in one, plus you pay exorbitant prices for data!
I use Fi and it's been great. Mostly the same network as T Mobile but swaps onto US Cellular when it needs to. WiFi calling is an absolute must for me though. Gives signal in all kinds of places you might not expect or let's you jump onto someone else's hotspot if you have to.
I feel like it used to be Verizon, but I have a T mobile phone and a Verizon phone and T-Mobile has been better in the last 2 years
Anywhere in Chittenden County, Verizon is by far the best. Recommend sharing your rough location (while maintaining privacy) to get more accurate recs. It’s a spotty mess outside Chittenden.
Dude this is an area thing. I have Verizon, but my parents have AT&T. Both are better for where we live, even though it’s only 25 minutes away
TMobile has gotten WAY better in the last 24 months as they keep putting 5G towers up.
Google Fi works great for me in most of the state, though the closer to the kingdom I get the worse it gets, as well as in more remote towns like ripton. Otherwise terrific.
My gf has Verizon, her coverage is better overall but seems to have a lot of instances where she has like full bars of LTE/5G and pages won't load. Verizon reps have said it's because too many people are on the towers at once.
I feel like Verizon bars are bullshit. Often I’ll have two bars in the middle of nowhere and nothing will load. Definitely not overloaded.

I use Google Fi. If you're not a data user (which I'm not) then it's the best deal. What I've noticed though, is that the cell phone's hardware also plays a huge role in Vermont (combination of hardware and driver probably). My wife and I both use Google Fi, but her phone is consistently better at finding and holding celltower signals than my own. She can connect while my own phone insists there's no signal. Really ticks me off. We both have Motoralas but different models.
lol cellular in VT? no chance bud. ATT works in most places and so does verizon. There is not a definite best carrier as we have terrain that sucks for wireless signal propagation and shitty infrastructure.

The answer to this question is completely dependent on where YOU are going to be. The state is a patchwork of coverage zones. Depending on where you will primary live/travel, the BEST answer will vary.
