From Maryland, and a pretty good district therein.

That said, somewhere that has choice of high schools (like Middletown Springs) and you can end up at Long Trail School (has an IB program) would be pretty good.

Where are you moving from?
I mean, Mississippi to Vermont? Schools everywhere will be much better here.
Massachusetts to Vermont: your question is worth asking.
But Banyai’s town (Pawlet) probably wouldn’t be my first choice until things resolve.
