Hey guys, I’ve been looking around online at this for some time now and it seems that electricians are in fairly significant demand in Vermont. Just asking to see if anyone’s in the industry and would have some insight - what would you say the outlook is for a New Zealand qualified electrician with 6 years experience under their belt if they were to move to Vermont? Is it easy or difficult to find good work?

Cheers!

Judging by the number of people I know here in VT who are waiting for skilled workers to come to their homes, I’d say you will do great!

yes. It only comes to light when they go to sell the house. At least from my view.

Yes! Please move here, we need more skilled tradesmen and women! You will be welcomed and well-respected. Housing is outrageously expensive however so look into that before making the leap.

If you are competent, nice, and don’t have a Trump sticker on the back of your truck, people will be throwing money at you.
