As far as I know, the DMV can use slightly different routes. Burlington DMV uses 3 depending on the tester. Many years ago, before I took the test we waited until the next test takers came out of the DMV with the test person. We then followed the route that was taken. It took a bit of extra effort, but it helped reduce anxiety.

There's a stop sign kind of randomly in the middle of Bailey Road that trips a lot of people up, also going down the Bailey Road hill you can pick up a lot of speed, watch out you don't go over the limit.
Basically, familiarize yourself with Bailey Road!

No prob. Just drive around Montpelier and try parking a few times and you’ll be fine. Best of luck!

Ok this was 15 years ago but from what I remember, you start at the DMV (across from the statehouse) and head down state street toward Bailey Road/the 4-way intersection. Make a left there and then a left onto Memorial Drive and basically just a giant loop back to the DMV. And along the way you have to do a parallel park (thought they may have gotten rid of that) and a k-turn. There are a few crosswalks there by the high school, so you have to watch out for those, too.
Again, that was 15 years ago so it could have changed. I only remember it because I failed the first time after basically making a U-turn in that intersection lol
