Vermont isn't just a "small" states in quotation marks. It's the smallest state economy in the US.

Not saying your frustration is invalid, but... expectations. Literally every other state in the country turns money over more than we do.

Normalizing data by per capita is important. Per capita we still have a pretty small economy, but nowhere as small as states like Alabama and Mississippi.
