I’ve seen a few Reddit threads about these apartments from years ago, but I would like to post to ask whether anyone can share a more recent account of these apartments. Did you have a good or bad experience overall? How was the noise? Any mold/bug issues? Did the climate controls work well? Were the fitness centers overcrowded? Thank you for your time.

I have a friend who recently moved out after 2 years. They were living there while their house was built. Seems like the location of your unit plays into how loud things are as there is a lot of coming and going of people. No mold issues, and the maintenance responded fairly quickly with issues. Crazy expectations of leaving it clean to get the deposit back. They loved the convenience of all the food and shops.

I rented a unit in one of their new buildings for about 3 years. I was the first tenant to occupy that unit so it was very clean. No issues with mold or bugs and the building was kept pretty clean. My unit had mini splits which worked well for the AC and since heat was included it got nice and warm in the winter. The fitness centers were hardly used from what I could see and were always clean. Noise was definitely more than I liked... I could clearly hear conversations in the unit below me and of passersby out in the hallways. Finney is a lovely place to live though.

I have a few co-workers in there. I've been in one - it looked fine, but not exciting inside. They like the convenience. Nobody seems to have a problem with it. I could for sure hear everyone in the hallway and I bet that gets loud during busy times.

Completely unrelated to ops post but as a person who lived in NH and spent a fair amount of time in VT....I absolutely love your upvote and downvote Icons .... in fairness NH isn't exactly Alabama but it might well be the Alabama of the Northeast... I'd still prefer it to Connecticut though.

Edit: it=Alabama

I’m not sure how this answers my question. Most apartments have a wait list if you want to rent from them, so I’d give them a call and ask to get on it if you’re interested.

It doesn't answer your question. This entire subreddit is packed to the gills with full-time trolls.

I can see that. I’m debating just removing the post. Not sure why I bothered with trying to hear from locals on Reddit 🤷🏻‍♂️

The key to this subreddit is to ignore the downvotes and trolls. There are a lot of helpful people here. But you have to get through all that.

Hopefully you get into one and us non-trolls from Williston can say welcome to the neighborhood!

Out of curiosity, what does one of those units rent for?

I believe 700 square foot, 1 bedroom units currently go for $1,600 or so. Quite expensive, but everything is in this state these days.

My SIL lived in one of the original buildings but someone was in there before her. They didn't do a great job with finish work or repainting walls but there was no mold or noise issues. There were some issues with heating but it was one of the older units. I've been in one recently that's newer and it seemed well put together. Regular scuffs, wear/tear in the hallways and lobby but that's any apartment building I guess. Williston is definitely working towards their own little world in Tafts Corners for better or worse.

Lived there for a little over a year. Our balcony faced the pool. It was nice. Carpet was starting to show its age but if I remember correctly they were replacing after we moved out. It was clean and well maintained. Maintenance was very responsive the few times we needed them. When we were viewing the apartment I asked if there was an ice maker in the freezer and there wasn’t but the manager had one out in free of charge before we moved in. It’s almost doubled in size since I lived there but I would recommend.
