Is just getting a warning really that likely? I know there's a shortage of cops generally but my commute includes this spot on 91 where I see a state trooper like every other morning, which makes me currently nervous about having expired temporary plates

It's super easy to read the expiration date on a paper plate on the back of a car traveling 65mph.

Haha. Good point. Ive also seen cops parked on the side of Route 5, so it would probably be more readable there

Put the temporary plate inside the rear window. Donโ€™t ever scrape the dust or frost off the rear window.

One problem there at least in my county the freaking sheriffs pull over every car with a temp tag they see. Assholes.

With an expired inspection? Yes. With an expired registration? Not so likely.
