So you'd rather get whacked with fines rather than spending a sunday afternoon with some bondo and sand paper? man you're basic.

My car is nearing 20 years old. If a few lil rust spots were my only issue I’d strap on my big boy pants and become an esteemed weekend bondo mechanic like yourself.

Some of us just suck at body work. I can rebuild a motor in my sleep but bondo holy freaking disaster.

yeah - i've gotten better at it since getting into wood working... takes time, patience and ambition. Rebuilding a motor is no easy feat though, props to you for getting to that level of mechanical mastery.

It's just numbers really double triple checking everything. Now performance work like head porting and other stuff is an art kinda like bondo IMO.

Agreed. It's definitely crazy shit when you get into the nitty gritty of things.

I had a buddy that did some crazy shit to his late 90's prelude. Dropped an H22 in it, super charger, and all sorts of goodies.

We would spend hours on the highway tuning air / fuel rations with honda shop cat doing pulls on 89.

Fun fucking times.
