yeah - i've gotten better at it since getting into wood working... takes time, patience and ambition. Rebuilding a motor is no easy feat though, props to you for getting to that level of mechanical mastery.

It's just numbers really double triple checking everything. Now performance work like head porting and other stuff is an art kinda like bondo IMO.

Agreed. It's definitely crazy shit when you get into the nitty gritty of things.

I had a buddy that did some crazy shit to his late 90's prelude. Dropped an H22 in it, super charger, and all sorts of goodies.

We would spend hours on the highway tuning air / fuel rations with honda shop cat doing pulls on 89.

Fun fucking times.
