Swimming hole is by far the nicest. pHIt has amazing trainers but limited hours. snap is open 24/7 but you’ll want to avoid early am and late pm when the muscle heads try to hog the weights.

From their websites:

Phit/Stowe = $100/mo

Swimminghole/Stowe, approx $75/mo (different rates depending on age)

Forge/Waterville = $65/mo

Snap/Morrisville = (unpublished)

Thanks! Do you need to train with the trainers at phit or can I workout on my own?

I never saw any trainers when I took fitness classes there. I believe it’s work out on your own.

You don’t have to but training is available. A husband/wife own it. The husband is former military and completely ripped. The wife is a former dancer and gorgeous. They have 5 kids and are probably in their 50s but have physics that most 20-something’s would envy.

The Forge seems cool, but I haven't gone yet. Waiting until Jan 1 next year ;)

The Forge is great. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the facility is nice and clean

Also if you want to do CrossFit I think there is one in Waterbury and (maybe) Hyde Park. Just throwing it out there as a fitness option but I think CF only does classes typically.
