When we got our home inspection the guy doing it showed up carrying a firearm, my wife kindly asked if he'd leave it in his truck, when he came back from putting it away he explained he had just come from orange where i definitely remember him saying something like "people in that area have shot at my truck when i'm on dirt roads heading to inspect houses" and making the sound like bullets whizzing by

I drive through that area a few times a year (visiting friends nearby) and that's pretty hard to believe. I've been all over backroads in that area and the NEK and other than the one crazy cult in Craftsbury that used to pull guns on people, never had an issue (even when ending up on class 4 roads that turned out to be impassable where I had to back out or find a spot to turn around).

Yeah definitely just some dude who had an ego problem about him from what it sounds like. Prob just hated the fact he couldn’t hold his gun for 5 minutes

So this guy, who based on this story didn't complain and did exactly as asked, has an ego and must be a gun nut?

Can I just as easily jump to the conclusion that you're ignorant?

My buddy had bullets fly through his window in VT in the mid-80s driving through Brattleboro.

It’s believable.

My least favorite road hauling sap 😂 If you live there I’m apologizing in advance for what your road will look like in a couple months.

I live nearby - it's kind of a lesser-known snow belt around here.

Imo the layer cake of ice and snow is far worse to drive on than an inch of fluffy fresh snow

Didnt the guy who supposedly lives there say something about taking care of the poor/homeless? Seems a waste to let all those building go un-used for most of the week.
