It used to be an actual lift served hill for Norwich. So there are several routes down at varying pitches. Obviously they are super “natural” now and overgrown but you’re still on a mostly cleared, albeit narrow, slope. Can also duck into the woods if you know your way around.

Yeah Im always passing the ruck hikes on my way up the mountain. The students sled down the slopes and it's crazy dangerous if you're in the way

Great walking up there regardless whether one is on the Norwich U or Northfield town lands - any time of year too!
