Happens every year in Ohio right on Lake Erie. And every year people freak out saying it's never happened before.

Definitely get thundersnow on the in BC. Got caught in a big snow storm near the summit of the Coq and the only thing that made the road harder to see than the snow was the lightning.

Man, if I could find anything that brings me as much joy as this guy seeing Thundersnow I would be sooooo happy.

They used the term “thunder flurries” on Grey’s Anatomy last week and I had to chuckle. It was just a lightning storm.

Thunder snow is pretty cool, especially at its lower temperatures like -20c.

It clearly says in this "south side of Erie" and NYwx in the tweet so I'm gonna go ahead and say this isn't the Canadian side, it's upstate New York.

I'm from Alberta but have only seen this like twice before. It's very rare where I am.
