I'm pretty sure I he other chip makers can do something and catch up. Building a blob of silicon to process's random commands isn't something Intel and AMD can't do. Also as a software engineer don't believe this matters for like 30 years.

I don’t want to make you a generalization, but this is classic software engineer underestimating how hard it is to create physical things. Including the cutting edge of manufacturing technology. I would love for you to actually look up the manufacturing process of computer chips and compare that to whatever product management plan you may be following.

30 years from now? AI is being increasingly adopted by major companies and it’s not just tech. Today Microsoft and Morgan Stanley are both in on OpenAI Chat GPT among others.

Well if the last 5 years is any indication, this is infact something Intel can't do. Also, considering that most software engineers can't do what they do and hardware is 10X harder. I think you might be overestimating your skills here a bit.
