Outside of Reddit's echo chambers there's still a large percentage of the world that doesn't know about AI language models.
Influencers influence. After a couple of them show off some AI response samples, ChatGPT will see another surge in users.
This was a smart idea for snapchat to make their premium service worth buying for folks who'd rather use a platform they're familiar with, rather than sign up for a new one.
