No the CEO accidentally purchased under body coating, wheel and tire coverage, and the extended warranty when he was financing operations.

But yet they just did a massive 65 cent special dividend. I think that's irresponsible when they owe so much money.

Once a company starts a dividend and the big retirement funds pick it up they can’t stop it. If they halted the dividend and institutional investors (code word for municipal retirement funds) dump the stock it crashes hard.

The special dividend was from selling their stake in Rivian. It was a one time event. You may be correct though they could have used it more effectively

That is correct. Paying off some debt would have probably been better long term than paying us the dividend.
