BULLISH on Victoria's Secret (VSCO)

As Covid-19 restrictions lift, as people start to forget about the pandemic, the new year begins, and valentines day just passed, there are more new relationships, more couples moving in with each other, and most importantly, more "fun time" in relationships. With all this in mind, and earnings coming out soon, I am pretty confident that there's going to be a big surprise on earnings this Thursday, 3/2/23.

I talked to my girlfriend about this last week. She spends all of her money shopping so I trust her. Victoria’s Secret is not in style or price competitive anymore. None of her shopping friends go there anymore

It sounds shitty, but VS’s whole inclusive bodies modeling campaign push has basically killed their brand perception. Their value was predicted on sex appeal, not on realism. They were already on the out, but that was the death knell.

I’m not sure about people being any hornier now than they were a year or two ago. People also bought a lot of clothing during the pandemic to make themselves feel better, so the return to normal might not mean anything.

One argument you could make is all the Onlyfans girls need to base their “content” off of something and many have wishlists for things like lingerie, so effectively this is the first time in history that horny single men are buying a substantial amount of lingerie.
