You can't add temperatures together. ChatGPT probably assumed you were a special needs child and gave you a BS answer instead of roasting you.

There is literally no application for what you are trying to do. Nothing about it makes sense.

Try asking for average temperatures. You want to interpolate the numbers, not simply add them together.

In a literal sense, sure, as temperature is measure of energy. Even though you could argue that talking about temperature change throughout the day involves adding temperatures.

But you’re missing the point. Even if it doesn’t make sense from a physics standpoint, every human knows what the thread is asking. The point is that it’s a chatbot, not a general AI system that can discern intent/do illogical calculations.

It’s a very case specific piece of tech that people are trying to use for things outside of its use case.

Well it obviously knows chess is gay and it’s only purpose is for beta males to fight about who has the bigger nerd brain because they can’t get chicks. So it simply hasn’t bothered to learn the rules.
