most volatility would come at speech time so personally IF thats the route you chose then i would do it right before the speech to prevent and decay.

Yea exactly, he speaks at 10:30 my time so I might get an hour or so of decay, maybe I’ll do 30 minutes before.

15-30 min would be good... i hadnt really weighed that myself but i might do a small one

We also have PCE the following day, then jobs report Friday so I’m probably gonna stick to strangles only for this week
