What’s funny is the media reported on the meeting last time pretty bullish and markets rallied. But read the actual minutes and it was not bullish at all. Media seems to be in their own world and pulling unfounded conclusions lol

Just my opinion, but I find that highly unlikely. CPI is on the 13th and FOMC follows shortly after. I think he will continue to play hard on inflation and markets this meeting. Worst thing he could do is be dovish and pump the markets into CPI because if CPI misses we all know what happens

This isn’t hitting by January. Not even close. The market is looking for any excuse to rally until year end. This will likely hit by end of Q1 or Q2 but yeah, you should sell and reposition.

Yeah, I struggle with options and theta so I went less risky and just bought ATM puts instead. I know I could have gotten more but if I’m right about the target, it will 6x anyways.

Update: so I’m down 10k out of 25k. We will see what tomorrow brings. I knew there would be pain. I didn’t expect it to be that stupid of rally from JPOW but we are still under the YTD decline trend. All the indicators point to this being a bunch of crap.

We will see what tomorrow brings!

As long as you have a plan going in you should be fine going out but I suggest taking when you feel like it or get that gut feeling. Spy will rally to 400+ before you see another drop if you don’t believe me but from my charting I see $400 which means you’ll be 10-30% down before you think about riding that wave down which will happen but after you see some red first!

Powell will get you this week if you can handle the pain you will be rewarded in a few weeks good luck

it can go up or down or sideways, but fr watch the VIX and this is a good post and position. not a g bear but besides some god almighty santa rally I would have done the same. News is neutral at best and the housing mkt looks like shit, fucking food is expensive as shit, and same with gas. INflAtiON is alive and well. Have some big balls and dont paper hand these, uninstall the app is my advice so you wont have the wild emotional roller coaster day to day. Check back maybe in 1 week increments.
