Man it sounded bearish to me besides him saying they might not do a .75 at next meeting, what else did I miss

Bingo.

Either he saw the PCE data early and is feeling especially happy about his approach, or he is going to get nuked tomorrow. I would lean towards the former.

Worth noting I did tune in about 10 minutes late, but I heard him repeating that they don’t want to make the mistake of over-tightening. He also said he feels like a soft landing is possible, and that they need to slow the rate tightening. Overall I thought his tone was very different from the last time he spoke.

But maybe I missed something. What did he say that you perceived as bearish?
