>Amazon is a great company and I'm glad they are doing well. However, I think the stock is overpriced and I would not buy it at current levels.

Nice, i Can retire now
A cynical move to pay insiders. Totally pointless for anybody with less than 5000 shares.
The sources on this have been dubious af, doesn’t seem to be widely reported
So, it’s Day 2 at Amazon?
Nice to know its still over valued 👍

Amazing drags it's balls over your face after fucking you. Nice.
Weak
Yea, your source is bullshit and Amazon did not declare. Wtf is market beat? Lol
Your source should be the Investor Relations page of Amazon or SEC filings
Lol jassy mentality
Liar
I can not find a source for that...
OP doesn't even bother to link his shitty source. How does this make it past VisualMod?
Source even assumes the dividend is quarterly and extrapolates it out to an annual yield to get clicks.
If american companies did more dividends and not stupid stock buybacks, everyone would be happier
Is this a good idea by Amazon? If they pay $0.2 quarterly it will cost the business $10b annually. Their profit margin is tight at the minute so will eat up most of this
I cant verify that AMZN is going to pay a dividend. But it is the ultimate tool to stabilise a falling stock price. The stock price is ultimately, a function of yield.
Dividends are tax inefficient. Buybacks can offer a superior return of value to shareholders. Buybacks are only stupid if the underlying asset is over priced.
Pls ban him for spreading fake news.
